FOGH (Friends of Good Harbor) is committed to respecting your privacy and recognizes your need for appropriate protection of personally identifiable information you share with us. That is why we have established this privacy policy, so that you can understand the care with which we intend to treat your information.

In general, you can visit the public section of the Good website without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. For site management, information is collected for statistical purposes. We track the usage of our website's pages, but the individual user remains anonymous. We do not use "cookies" or other identifiers.

If you wish to join FOGH to receive our notices and gain access to the Members' section of our website, you must provide some basic demographic information about yourself.

INFORMATION: We will not reveal any personal information that users provide to us to any third party without your permission except as listed herein. We respect your privacy, and we will take reasonable steps to see that our privacy policy is followed throughout our organization.

INTERNAL FORMS and EMAIL: If you contact us with internal web-based forms, webmail, or standard email, our site will automatically record the information you have provided us with as well as your IP address. This information is used to answer your questions, provide you with requested data, or register your opinions.

EMAIL: Our email list is a completely private list. Nobody can view the messages without being approved by us unless forwarded by members on the list. It has very low traffic, and you will only receive occasional messages. E-mail addresses lists will not be shared, rented, sold, or otherwise provided to any non-association entities. We manage our own list through software at our website. We have tried to make our system as secure as reasonably possible.

TELEPHONES and ADDRESSES: Our membership roster is private and used only for contacting FOGH members about FOGH business. These phone numbers will not be shared, rented, sold, or otherwise provided to any non-club entities.

SECURITY: With the advent of web based email, cloud computing, and on-line backup we cannot take responsibility for other servers with respect to inbound email and the information from web-based forms. In the event we discover security issues on servers we use, we will take appropriate steps to protect the information you share with us from unauthorized access or disclosure.
